The city of Rincon will be testing its new tornado sirens June 13.

The city recently installed the sirens to warn residents in the event a tornado approaches the city.

"On June 13, you may hear repeated short periods of siren alerts," said City Manager Wesley Corbitt. "These are only tests to ensure our installation was correctly completed. Please do not be alarmed."
