SPRINGFIELD -- The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating Alan Edward Dozier (aka Alan Royal).

The white 42-year-old Dozier, 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, is wanted in an Effingham County burglary where a gun was stolen. He is on parole and considered armed and dangerous. 

He is covered with tattoos, including a large one of Mary on his head and a teardrop under his left eye.
