Work still ongoing at new Effingham Herald building

RINCON -- Finishing touches are still being appied to the  new Effingham Herald building at 1204 N. Columbia Ave.

On Friday, Whitfield Sign Co. of Statesboro adorned the front of the building with the newspaper name and address. The large black letters will be backlit at night.

Signs were also placed on the inside front door and restrooms.

The Herald moved into its new home at August.
