SR21 Southbound lane closure scheduled Monday

If weather permits, contractors for Georgia Department of Transportation will be milling and resurfacing at the Bojangles’ driveway along SR 21 southbound.

Temporary lane closure will be in place from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday, April 3.

Whenever you approach a work zone: slow down; allow extra distance between vehicles; read signs; obey road crew flaggers; and expect the unexpected.

A Rincon police officer has returned to duty following an internal review into his use of force during the arrest of a shoplifting suspect at Walmart. The department released redacted body camera footage, the initial incident report, and a statement Wednesday, citing transparency. Warrants have been issued for five suspects in connection with the alleged theft.
