BLUFFTON, S.C. --  It is the season of giving, but South Effingham's girls were much too generous Thursday night.

After battling Bluffton to a 19-19 halftime tie, the Lady Mustangs kept giving the ball away with errant passes. They finished with 30 turnovers in a 51-30 loss.

"You're not going to win when you have 30 turnovers," South Effingham coach Jenifer Hall said.

The Lady Mustangs will get another shot at the Lady Bobcats on Tuesday in a 6 p.m. home game.
