RINCON — WorkSource Coastal is in the business of partnerships, making it a perfect addition to Effingham County Family Connection.
WorkSource Coastal, whose Effingham Job Center is located at 410 S. Columbia St., Suite B, in Rincon, is a network of federal, state and local agencies committed to economic growth and workforce development in a 10-county area that includes Effingham. It is charged with the responsibility of linking job seekers and employers, which is in tune with Family Connection's goal of ensuring that Effingham County citizens live healthy and productive lives.
"Family Connection in Effingham County is just awesome," said Janet Jones, WorkSource's business services representative for Bulloch, Screven and Effingham counties. "It really is a good organization to connect you to the community and the people that you serve. I really have found it to be beneficial in our area.
"It helps connect us with people who need our services."
A federally funded program, WorkSource aids residents with job searches and the application process, plus it offers a variety of training programs and apprenticeships.
