Dear Editor,

This is a little late, but we do want to thank everyone who put the fire that was fast approaching our home. The police, fire departments from Springfield, Guyton and Rincon, the forestry unit that plowed a fire break and the power company who restored power quickly all did a great job, and we are really grateful.
