STATESBORO—The 2010 Georgia Southern football season includes games at Navy and Coastal Carolina with priority ticket applications and order forms sent to Georgia Southern Foundation donors and Eagle football season ticket holders in June. Ticket applications and orders for those two away games will be collected until close of business on Aug. 20. Georgia Southern students with a valid ID are also eligible to purchase tickets to these away games.

The number of tickets available for purchase for donors or season ticket holders is based on Priority Points rankings. Ticket eligibility information for the away games at Navy and Coastal Carolina are based on an individual’s Priority Points and the number of tickets that may be ordered is indicated on each individual form. Priority Points were calculated based on pre-determined criteria which included the current year’s donation (if applicable), consecutive membership years (if applicable), cumulative season ticket purchases for football, men’s basketball and baseball, and possible points for donor referrals.

Game tickets for Navy are $33 each and $15 for Coastal Carolina. Each ticket will include a $2.50 processing and mailing fee. Credit card payment is the only accepted form of payment allowed for these away game ticket orders. Forms and payment information may be mailed to the Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office at P.O. Box 8115-01, Statesboro, Georgia, 30460, or dropped off in person at the Cowart Building located adjacent to Paulson Stadium (203 Lanier Drive).

Orders will be filled using the Priority Points system to determine availability and seating location. Credit cards will be charged when ticket orders are fulfilled and tickets for the away games will be mailed in the first two weeks in August along with the 2010 Georgia Southern football season tickets. Ticket orders after that time will be processed as they are received. For those requiring handicapped or wheelchair accessible seating, please contact Kay Shuman at (912) GSU-WINS for availability as soon as possible.
