Lady Mustangs trample Lady Terrors

GUYTON -- South Effingham (15-2-1, 7-1) rolled over Glynn Academy (6-8, 4-2) 9-1 in a Region 2-AAAAAA softball game Wednesday.

Alex Brown collected three of the Lady Mustangs' nine hits, scored twice and drove in a run. Avery Roddenberry and Caraline Stone sparked the offense with two RBI apiece, and Sarah Messex socked two safeties. Emma Darrow scored twice.

Bailey Kendziorski was the winning pitcher. She allowed seven hits and struck out seven while going the distance. The Lady Terrors got their lone run against her in the first frame.
