GUYTON -- South Effingham moved to 2-0 Friday night after pulling off a thrilling upset over Jenkins in overtime.
Liam Rickman nailed a game-winning field goal to lift the Mustangs to a 29-26 victory.
South Effingham's Rocko Griffin scored from three yards out with 26 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 26.In overtime, Jenkins turned the ball over.
The 2-0 start is the first time South Effingham has won back-to-back games since Oct. 2016.
