RINCON -- Three area men died in a fiery accident in Pulaski County early Saturday.

The Georgia State Patrol reported that a Ford Transit truck and a Hino box truck collided on Ga. Hwy 27 west of Hawkinsville at 7:40 a.m. The Transit caught fire and its three occupants were pronounced dead at the scene by the Pulaski County coroner.

The names of the victims, reportedly from Effiingham County, have not been released

The Hino driver, Adam Soles of Jacksonville, Fla., was transported to Medical Center, Nacient Health with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
