Former Effingham County High School football standout Seth Goldwire continues to excel at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C.
Goldwire led the Terrier defense with 11 tackles, including a sack for 11 yards in Wofford’s 45-20 Southern Conference win at Furman.
The Terriers are 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
Wofford continues SoCon play this Saturday, traveling to Charleston, S.C. to play The Citadel at 2 p.m. It is the closest Goldwire will play to Effingham County.
