Four Savannah Christian School student athletes, including two Effingham County residents, signed collegiate letters of intent Friday at the school’s media center.
Jordan Hill of Guyton is headed to Middle Georgia College. The son of Billy and Carla Hill, he has lettered all three previous years in baseball at SCPS and was a three-time football letterman. Hill has been named to the all-Region 2-AA first team twice as a catcher.
Hill has been a youth coordinator for the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk in Savannah in 2006 and 2007. He will pursue a career in physical therapy.
Nate Sisolak of Springfield will play baseball for Gordon College in Barnesville. Sisolak is the reigning Region 2-AA player of the year and has been selected as a contender for the Georgia Dugout Club preseason all-state first team. He is the son of Bill and Darla Sisolak.
Two Red Raider teammates, Jonathan Hester and Kyle Jones, also pledged their collegiate futures, with Hester — the SCPS career leader in RBIs — joining Hill at Middle Georgia and Kyle Jones accepting preferred walk-on status with University of South Carolina-Beaufort.
