Sally Faircloth went the distance, and the South Effingham Lady Mustangs pushed across two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning with two outs to beat Harlem 3-1 Saturday and win the Region 3-AAA softball championship.

It was the fifth straight region title for the Lady Mustangs, who beat Thomson on Saturday morning.
