Effingham County senior pitcher/third baseman Bailee Wilson has been named Region 2-AAAAAA's softball player of the year for the third straight season.

Wilson was joined on the first team, chosen by 2-AAAAAA coaches, by Effingham County teammates Julia Carter (pitcher), Addie Reynolds (catcher), Jaci Coleman (outfielder) and Gracie Whaley (utility player).

Lady Rebels outfielder Ashley Wilson was named to the second team. Francie Gaskin was the second-team utility player.
