The Effingham County Rebels (21-5) rallied for four sixth-inning runs to sink the Brunswick Pirates 5-2 in Brunswick on Friday.
Austin Mealor drove in two sixth-inning runs with a triple. Another run scored on an error and Chandler Hinely added a run-producing sacrifice fly.
Hinely also had an earlier RBI.
Mealor was the lone Rebel to reach multiple hits with two. Effingham County tallied seven base knocks as a team.
Garrett Miller pitched all seven innings for the Rebels, allowing six hits and no walks. He threw just 88 pitches.
