Glynn Academy won the South Effingham Volleyball Invitational, sweeping the competition.

The Lady Terrors defeated South Effingham in the final match 25-19, 26-24 to claim the win.

In all, Glynn won five matches.

Meanwhile, South Effingham finished second, its only defeat coming to Glynn Academy.

South Effingham defeated Jenkins 25-23, 8-25, 25-11, Toombs County 27-25, 20-25, 15-5, Effingham County 25-9, 25-15 and Savannah Arts Academy 25-21, 25-18.

Effingham County finished  third in the six-team round robin tournament, losing to Glynn, South Effingham and Jenkins.

Meanwhile, the Lady Rebels picked up wins against Toombs County, 17-25, 25-17, 25-17, and Savannah Arts Academy.
