Every day, people look at Brenda Reid like she’s crazy when they hear she teaches middle school.
“My heart is just middle school. I love this age,” she said. “… I feel like I can relate to these kids, like I can make a difference for them; that I can be that one, maybe calming effect for them.”
A mother to five, Reid said she remembers how that age can be difficult.
