Bands from South Effingham Middle School and South Effingham High School participated in their first concert of the year at SEHS on Tuesday. SEMS seventh and eighth grade bands directed by Caitlin Teter and Matthew Leff performed selections including “African Folk Trilogy” and “Variation Overture.” SEHS concert band, symphonic band and wind ensemble directed by Sean McBride and Lisa Reams performed selections including “American Folk Fantasy,” “Fate of the Gods” and “Celebrations.”
The next concerts are scheduled in December. SEMS will perform Dec. 11 and SEHS will perform Dec. 13.
