Blandford Elementary School fifth graders enjoyed a Georgia Day program from the United Daughters of the Confederacy on Feb. 16.

Ivy Nettles, vice president of the UDC, shared the organization’s objectives, and Maria Bashlor presented the program "Georgia: Britain’s 13th Colony." There were 43 participants in the poster and essay contest.
