Blandford Elementary School hosted a new event this year for Veterans Day — a parade of veterans who are family members of BES students.

The veterans walked with their family members as other students cheered, clapped, held signs and waved American flags.

Prior to the parade, the veterans enjoyed a reception at the school.

Leading up to the event, students, teachers and staff members were encouraged to bring pictures of their veteran family members to be displayed at BES.
