The Effingham County High School Calculus Club celebrated Down Syndrome Awareness month during the month of October by raising funds for the local Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society. They raised money through a raffle and by collecting donations in their piggy banks during their annual “Dimes for Down Syndrome” campaign. This year, the club raised a record $1,321.35 through their efforts.
