Effingham Christian School announces third quarter honors

Effingham Christian School recently celebrated the completion of the third academic quarter with the presentation of several awards.
The recipients are listed below:


Headmaster’s List
In order to receive this award, the student must be in grades 1-12 and must average 90 percent or higher.
Recipients were Maddie Arnold, William Arnold, Logan Arnsdorff, Rachel Bass, Sarah Bass, Quinn Bodie, Judith Bower, Ashlyn Burnsed, Abigail Burt, Anna Burt, Theresa Calandra, Joseph Daniel, Gracie Delk, Delaney Denton, Niki Farizy, Parsa Farizy, Alli Fields, Tori Gaylord, Trey Gordy, Payton Graham, Luke Hagan, Katelyn Hart, Alaina Heidt, Philip Heidt, Victoria Hendrix, Morgan Howes, Jayden Kelly, Joseph Lewis, Abbey McIntyre, Grace Miles, Cody Moran, Corban Moran, Justin Moran, Carson Perry, Jared Rowland, Madelyn Rowland, Jack Ryan, Kayla Ryan, Cooper Smith, Ethan Stewart, Benjamin Trainor, Knox Trainor, Margaret Trainor.


Good Samaritan Award
In order to receive this award, a student must show exemplary thoughtfulness, care, and Christ-like love. Students in fifth-12th grade have to be nominated and seconded in order to receive the Good Samaritan award. Recipientss were: Christopher Campbell, Alyssa DeLoach, Thomas Graham, Morgan Howes, Jeremy Jackson, Boss Johnson, McClain Lewis, Brian Miles, Cody Moran, Justin Moran, Cooper Smith, Jackson St. Clair, Jake Trainor.


Apostle Paul Award
 In order for students to receive the Apostle Paul Award, they must show great improvement in attitude, behavior or academia. Students in fifth-12th grade have to be nominated and seconded in order to receive the Apostle Paul award. Recipients were: Abigail Alldredge, Alexander Alldredge, Adam Burt, Delaney Denton, Madison George, Jeremy Jackson, Dasha Perrett.


Fruit of the Spirit Award

Students who receive the Fruit of the Spirit award are nominated by their teacher for displaying one or more of the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Students in fifth-12th grade have to be nominated and seconded in order to receive the Fruit of the Spirit award. Winners were: Aidan Alldredge, Anna Burt, Hayden Cochran, Landon Dickerson, Joseph Lewis, Abbey McIntyre, Corban Moran, Jared Rowland, Kaytlin Stinson, Jake Trainor, Maddie Trainor.


Elijah Award
In order to receive the Elijah award, the student is nominated by a teacher for overcoming a difficulty while maintaining a good attitude. Students in the fifth-12th grade have to be nominated and seconded in order to receive the Elijah award. Winners were Sarah Arnold and Jake Trainor.
