Hall named to dean’s list at Clemson University

CLEMSON, S.C. — Erin Kinsley Hall of Springfield has been named to the dean’s list at Clemson University for the fall 2014 semester.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Hall is majoring in health science.


Four Effingham students earn honors at North Georgia for fall 2014 term

DAHLONEGA — Two students from Effingham County were named to the president’s list at the University of North Georgia for the 2014 fall semester.

Earning president’s list honors were:

Courtney Boaen Purcell of Rincon, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry

Shelby Nicholle Kullman of Rincon, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Pre-Education

Also, two students from Effingham made the dean’s list at the University of North Georgia for the fall semester:

Kelly N. Housand of Rincon

Reagan M. Johnson of Guyton

Dean’s list recognition at UNG is for students achieving a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.


Proctor named to Auburn dean’s list

AUBURN, Ala. — Jason Proctor was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Auburn University. Proctor is in the Honors College of Liberal Arts and is majoring in economics.

He is the son of Joseph and Betty Proctor of Rincon and is a 2014 graduate of Savannah Christian Preparatory School.
