Elliot earns degree from Emorys Woodruff School of Nursing

ATLANTA— Jill Elliott of Rincon, daughter of Marsha Lauren Sanders of Rincon, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing of Emory University in Atlanta, at its 164th commencement ceremony on May 11.

Emory University is known for its demanding academics, outstanding undergraduate experience, highly ranked professional schools and state-of-the-art research facilities. Effingham County High School introduced its new mascot, Rowdy the Rebel, this week. Inspired by popular sports mascots, Rowdy will appear at school events, pep rallies, and games, giving students a fresh way to engage and celebrate school spirit.
