Miss Diamond Pageant to support ECHS baseball

Miss Diamond 2012 will be crowned on Saturday at Effingham County High School. The contestants include girls from ECHS and South Effingham High School.

The pageant is a tribute to the late Logan Shelton, who was an ECHS baseball player. The pageant starts at 7:30 and there will be great entertainment in addition to beautiful contestants.

In honor of Shelton’s jersey number, there is no number six contestant.  The girls vote on a Logan Shelton award in lieu of the traditional Miss Congeniality award.
