Reading isnt just for the dogs
Kyle Moore, a 7-year-old student at Springfield Elementary, takes his turn reading to Belle and her trainer Trisha Olsen during the Springfield Branch Library’s Dog Days. Dog Days is a program where children practice reading by reading to a therapy dog. The program is held on the fourth Thursday of the month at the Springfield Branch and on the fourth Monday of the month at the Rincon Branch.
