At Christmas, Rincon Elementary had the privilege of making Christmas cards for Senior Master Sgt. Walters who was serving in Iraq. His wife Pat is a fourth grade teacher at the school. He came to tell the students how much the cards meant to him while he was away from home. He patiently answered many questions from the boys and girls. He presented Mrs. Debi Atkins' first grade class and Mrs.Carol  Bishop's third grade class (right) with American flags that had been flown over Iraq on Dec. 25, and he also gave the classes beautiful certificates. He was thanked for the gifts and for serving the country.
