Savannah Tech to host Kia recruiters

SAVANNAH — Savannah Technical College will host guests from Kia on Feb. 6 from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. as a part of the auto company’s state-wide recruitment efforts as it prepares to open its manufacturing facility in West Point. Officials are interested in recruiting technically-trained graduates to work at the facility and are visiting each of the state’s technical colleges to meet with students who may be interested in pursuing careers with the automaker.

The guests will be accompanied by representatives of the Georgia Department of Labor.

The Kia officials will be located in the kiosk in the Administration Building at the college’s Savannah Campus, 5717 White Bluff Rd. The visit is hosted by the Economic Development Division.
