Effingham County Schools Central Registration Center is now processing registrations for the 2011-12 school year.

Parents of students new to Effingham County and planning to attend the public school system for the 2011-2012 school year should call the Central Registration Center at 754-2530 to schedule an appointment for registration. Registration volume increases as the beginning of the school year approaches, so parents are encouraged to schedule an appointment as soon as possible to avoid increased wait times.

Registrations of students transferring between two Effingham County public schools will not need to be processed through Central Registration unless the students have been off roll for 10 or more consecutive school days. If you have moved to a new attendance zone within Effingham County, visit the school your child will be attending for 2011-12 with a valid proof of residency in order to have a school transfer processed.

The Effingham County Schools Central Registration Center is open from Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. As a courtesy to parents, the Center will also be open on July 29.

Parents may obtain a list of all required registration documents and forms by visiting the school system Web site at www.effinghamschools.com.  From the main site, navigate to Our District – Student Enrollment – Central Registration Center.
