SEHS preparing for its annual talent show

The South Effingham High School Talent Show Extravaganza will be held on Feb. 25 from 6-9 p.m. in the school cafeteria auditorium.

The event guarantees a wide variety of 25 plus impressive performances, including musicians, singers, bands, skits, and dancers. All acts will be judged by a panel of judges with rewards for first, second and third prize, winning $200, $150 and $100 respectively, as well as honorable mention performances.

The audience members will have the opportunity to vote for the Audience Choice Award. Partial proceeds from the show will support the local chapter of the Operation Homefront and local Effingham and Chatham county Chapters of the Humane Society. Operation Homefront (OH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors.

The local Effingham and Chatham County Chapters of the Humane Society are non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting the health, safety and welfare of domestic animals, preventing animal abuse, and placing pets into loving homes. In addition to the outstanding entertainment, there will be tasty refreshments for sale. Tickets for all ages are $4 in advance and $5 at the door on the night of the show.
