The South Effingham High School HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) club will host its second Red Cross blood drive of the 2013-14 school year April 11 from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. in the school gymnasium.

The organization’s goal is to receive 100 pints of blood during the drive. To sign up, SEHS students should visit the HOSA table in the cafeteria during lunch time to make an appointment.

To give, students must be at least 16 years of age, meet weight and height requirements and be in general good health when they donate. Students must bring a photo ID on the day of the drive.

Students who donate will receive a free Red Cross T-shirt. The blood drive is a high school leadership program sponsored by the local American Red Cross chapter.
