Students raise some coin for Relay for Life
5.08 ses coins for cancer

The students at Springfield Elementary School raised $1,345.82 for the American Cancer Society. 

Donna Kessler, the school counselor, thought it would be a great idea to have a coin drive as part of the school’s contribution to the Relay for Life.  Each homeroom participated in the fundraiser.

Karen Seckinger’s fourth grade class won first place by raising $160. Seckinger’s class received an ice cream party for being the homeroom with the highest amount of money donated.

Hunter Holloway donated more than $60.  

Effingham Students Honored at Signing Ceremony

Effingham College and Career Academy and its partner Savannah Technical College celebrated four students - Ben Bothwell, Caleb Coburn, Immanual Jackson and Alex Smith, who earned positions at Gulfstream Aerospace.
Effingham College and Career Academy (ECCA), in partnership with Savannah Technical College, hosted a signing ceremony today to honor four graduating students who have completed the Gulfstream Aviation Pathway and officially signed employment agreements with Gulfstream Aerospace.
