The school service was just one of over 40 school and community services the JROTC performed during the course of the school year. The almost 1,900 service hours was one of several goals the corps accomplished this year, on top of academic and graduation goals.

To help cover the shortfall, the district may raise the property tax millage rate, potentially increasing homeowners’ taxes by up to 12 percent.
