Yvette Carr, manager of Burns World Travel in Springfield, recently spoke to the third-grade students at Guyton Elementary School.

Carr has been a travel agent in southeast Georgia for 32 years and has traveled extensively. In addition to showing souvenirs from her travels all around Europe, Mexico, Ecuador and the Panama Canal, Carr spoke about different traditions, foods, languages and foreign currency.

For their good behavior, all the students received a hat with the Carnival Cruise Lines insignia and a mini-calculator from Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
