St. Boniface Catholic Church and First Baptist Church of Rincon are sponsoring a “Life Chain” on Highway 21 in front of First Baptist Church of Rincon on Oct. 7 from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

“Life Chain” is a national pro-life event. Participants stand silently on the sidewalk and hold signs with messages such as “Pray to End Abortion” and “Abortion Hurts Women.” It is not a protest march, and no speeches are made. It is a silent testimony to the pro-life message. For more information about “Life Chain,” go to www.lifechain.net.

Any interested persons are invited to participate in the Life Chain. No graphics are allowed on signs, and all signs must be approved by the event organizers.

Parking is available at First Baptist Church of Rincon. St. Boniface Catholic Church will provide signs and water for participants. If you have questions, you may contact Allan Bazemore of St. Boniface at 728-4854 or Bob Rogers at First Baptist Church at 826-5536.
