Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out will play Saturday at Springfield's Mars Theatre.

The International Bluegrass Music Association's most awarded male vocalist of the year, Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out will play at Springfield’s Mars Theatre on Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.

Fronting one of the most popular bands in bluegrass history, Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out is celebrating nearly 25 years as one of the genres most awarded and influential groups in modern day bluegrass. Moore has been named the IBMA male vocalist of the year five times.

All in all, the band has garnered more than 50 industry accolades since their inception in 1991 including the IBMA’s Vocal Group of the Year for seven consecutive years.

Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out have a heavy touring schedule, including many performances on the Grand Ole Opry, the GAC, and RFD channel programs. With more than 17 recordings to date and a desire to present their fans with the best music possible, makes this supergroup one of bluegrass music's most recognized and in-demand bands.

This summer, the band will release new music starting with their new single with the first single, "Brown County Red," already reaching No. 1 in June. Add it all up, and the future is looking very bright for Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out.
