The Historic Effingham Society will hold its annual banquet Feb. 7 in the Great Hall at New Ebenezer Retreat Center. Social time begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m.

The installation of officers and awards presentations will follow the program.

Mrs. Willie Tebeau, age 99, will be featured in a fireside chat discussing days gone by in Effingham County.

Advance tickets are on sale for $20 at Effingham Museum, 1002 North Pine St. in Springfield, or from HES members.
