Effingham Junction, a new space designed to bring the community together, will celebrate its grand opening on June 20. The space is managed by Renee Peterson and offers a mix of local art, handcrafted goods, books by local authors, and rotating vendor booths.

The opening will feature an art installation entitled “Radiant Color,” part of an exhibit series organized by Effingham Artists. Attendees can expect music, family-friendly activities, and food trucks.

Effingham Junction also includes space for art and community classes, and Peterson hopes to host pop-up events for small businesses. With its general store-meets-gallery feel, the venue aims to become a vibrant, creative hub for the community.
