Brittany Nichole Bennett and William Eugene Barton are pleased to announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of John Bennett of Rincon and Angie and Mike Mingledorff of Bloomingdale. She is the granddaughter of Simmie and Shirley Clanton of Savannah. She is a 2007 graduate of South Effingham High School and a recent graduate of marketing management from Savannah Tech. She is currently employed by Memorial Health University.

The groom-elect is the son of Spencer and Barbara Rahn of Springfield and William and Faye Barton of Midway. He is the grandson of Gary and Joyce Lord of Savannah and Trudy Barton, also of Savannah. He is a 2004 graduate of Groves High School and is employed by Western Sizzlin. His daughter, Kaitlyn, will serve as their flower girl.

The wedding will be held on May 1, 2010, at 4 p.m. at the Bamboo Gardens in Savannah.
