Mr. and Mrs. James W. Clayton of Springfield are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Keri Lee Clayton, to Brian Scott Morgan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton J. Morgan of Rincon.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Cecil R. Clements and the late Iva T. Clements of Sylvania and Mrs. Carrie H. Clayton and the late Mr. Carl Lee Clayton of Savannah.  Keri graduated from Effingham County High School and the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. She went on to become certified to teach and will earn her masters in educational leadership in the fall from Georgia Southern University.

She is currently employed by the Effingham County Board of Education and teaches ninth-grade English at Effingham County High School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Moses M. Morgan of Springfield, the late Mr. W.M. Broome of Savannah, and the late Mrs. Georgia D. Broome of Midway. Scott graduated from Effingham County High School and Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance.

He is the co-owner of Savannah River Mortgage where he serves as a loan officer. He is also a member of the Rincon City Council.

The wedding is scheduled for July 14, 2007 at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Rincon. Family and friends are invited to attend.
