Mr. Eddie Hodges of Newington and Mrs. Tracy Hodges Smith of Statesboro are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sandy Ellyn Hodges, to Christopher Matthew Hunt, son of Matt and Tamra Hunt of Odum.

Ellyn is the granddaughter of Langwood and Sandy Oglesby and the late John and Belle Hodges. Chris is the grandson of Arnold and Texia Hunt and the late Jessie and Annie Ogden.

Ellyn and Chris are students at Georgia Southern University. Chris will graduate in May 2013 with a BA in theater and Ellyn will graduate in December 2013 with a BA in Spanish. They have recently joined the staff of Crosspoint Ministries and plan to work in the mission field in Lima, Peru, as full-time missionaries after graduation.

The wedding ceremony will take place on May 18, 2013 at Hodges Farm in Newington. Friends and family are invited to attend.
