Barry and Angie Holton of Springfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Angela Holton, to Joseph Daniel Barras, son of Dannie and Lisa Barras of Guyton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert and Mary Ribron of Brunswick and the Barnell Holton of Nahunta and the late Joyce Mauney of Springfield. She is a 2007 graduate of Effingham County High School and is employed at Cracker Barrel.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Delmo and Vivian Cannady of Pooler and Donald and Carole Barras of Garden City. He is a 2005 graduate of Groves High School and employed by Dixie Crystals.

The wedding is set for March 5 at 4 p.m. at The Belle House in Statesboro with a reception to follow. The couple will honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and will reside in  Guyton.
