Russell and Cindy Howell of Rincon announce the engagement of their daughter, Lori Ann Howell, to Brian McEwen. He is the son of Michael and Lisa McFarlane of Rincon.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late William and Lois Pittman of Rincon and Edward and Betty Howell of Bloomingdale.

The groom-elect is the great grandson of the late James Rufus and Daisy Morris of Port Wentworth, and the grandson of the late Marilyn Morris Hadwin of Port Wentworth, and A. Lee and Mary McEwen of Rincon.

The wedding is planned for May 15 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church at 2 p.m.
