Robert and Luann Howell of Rincon would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hilary Nicole Howell, to Ariel Robert White, son of Kent and Robin White of Hawkinsville.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Donald and the late Alice Howell of Port Wentworth and Royce and Lou Ashcraft of Midway. She is a 2004 graduate of Effingham County High School and a 2007 graduate of Middle Georgia College with an associate degree in occupational therapy. She is currently employed with Enduracare.

The groom elect is the grandson of U.B. and Joyce White of Alexandria, Ind., Evelyn and the late Roy Waters of Muncie, Ind., and Russell and Nancy Conner of Hawkinsville. He is a 2004 graduate of Hawkinsville High School. He is currently serving with the 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment and is stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The wedding is planned for Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Rincon. Few local invitations to be sent but all friends are welcome to attend.
