Mr. and Mrs. Warren Kreun of Newington proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Libby Renee Kreun, to Ashley Kliff Kessler, son of Lester and Wanda Morgan, and Noel Kessler, of Springfield.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willmar Kreun of Edgerton, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. Willie Brown of Columbus, Miss. She was a 2005 honor graduate of Effingham County High School and is currently employed by Quick Rx Drugs. She plans to pursue a career as a certified pharmacy technician.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Bragg and the late Gladys S. Bragg of Savannah and Mrs. Christine Kessler and the late Mr. Clarence Kessler of Rincon. He is a 2001 graduate of Effingham County High School and is currently employed by the Effingham County Recreation Department as an athletic coordinator.

The couple plans to wed on Sept. 20, 2008, at 5 p.m. at Springfield United Methodist Church. Friends and family are invited.
