Everett and Dale Leggett of Jesup announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Leggett, to Jason Clifford Rogers of Guyton, son of Greg and Leisha Rogers of Guyton.

The bride-elect’s maternal grandparents are Thelma Thomas and the late J.W. Thomas of Patterson. Her paternal grandparents are the late E.W. Leggett and the late Esther Leggett of Jesup. The bride is a 2004 graduate of Wayne County High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in community health education. She is employed by Syl-View Nursing Home in Sylvania.

The bridegroom-elect’s maternal grandparents are the late Billie Morgan and the late Thomas Morgan of Rincon. His paternal grandparents are Joe and Othell Scarso of Rincon and the late Clifford Rogers of Claxton. He is a 2003 graduate of Effingham County High School and a 2008 graduate of Georgia Southern University where he earned a dual major bachelor’s degree in business management and business logistics. He is employed by Matson Global Distribution in Pooler.

The wedding is scheduled for July 30 at 6 p.m. at the Mackey House in Savannah. A reception will follow. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
