Bob and Deb Miller of Statesboro, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lyn, to Erin Michael Purvis, son of W.C. and Lisa Purvis of Guyton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Edwin E. Arnold and the late Dolores Arnold of Macon, Ga., and the late Margaret Jane Miller of Port Orchard, Wa., and the late Robert G. Miller of Seattle.

Jenny graduated from Statesboro High School in 2003 and from Georgia Southern University in 2007, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.  She recently obtained her Master of Arts in Teaching degree from GSU in middle grades education.  Jenny is currently employed with the Bulloch County Board of Education.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Virginia Purvis and the late W. Clifford Purvis of Collins, and the late Mary Z. Holland of South Guyton, and the late Reginald Holland of Vidalia. Erin graduated from South Effingham High School in 2002 and graduated from Ogeechee Technical College.  Erin is currently employed with Optim Healthcare in Statesboro.

Jenny and Erin will marry Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at The Belle House in Statesboro.  Formal invitations will be sent.
