Mr. and Mrs. Marvin L. Aids of Rincon announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashlie Brooke Aids, to Nicholas Brandon Wright.

Ashlie is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest M. Aids Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl T. Oglesby. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in December 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is currently employed by the Effingham County Board of Education at Rincon Elementary.

Brandon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Wright. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wright and Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin H. Jacobs Sr. Brandon graduated from Ogeechee Technical College with an Associates Degree in Construction Management. He is currently employed at JCB Construction Equipment.

The wedding is scheduled for June 4, 2011, at 6 p.m. at Port Wentworth United Methodist Church. Ashlie and Brandon plan to reside in Port Wentworth.
