Mr. and Mrs. Leon A. Zipperer Jr. of Rincon are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kathryn Rose Zipperer, to Shane Berry Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald D. Phillips of Rincon.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.Z. Jones of Rincon and Mrs. Kathryn R. Zipperer and the late Mr. Leon Zipperer Sr. of Rincon. She attended Toccoa Falls College and is a graduate of Brewton Parker College. She is employed with Caines, Hodges, Pace and Company, P.C. in Rincon.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Amelia Herrington and the late Mr. Dawson Brantley Herrington of Springfield and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cecil Phillips of Savannah. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and is employed with Phillips Flooring Center.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. at Rincon Baptist Temple. All family and friends are invited.
